The Meaning of Overcoming

The meaning of overcoming Faith means that when every we pray and ask God for is coming into existence. We can’t see it now but by the power and grace of God, it shall be manifest.

Devotion - an act of prayer or private worship.

This devotion has been designed to encourage the body of Christ. Our faith is being tested in trusting God and knowing He is our only resource. Therefore we must know he keeps his promises to them that walk not after the flesh. We trust that this lesson will bring light to those that read it.

I John 5:14

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. (NIV)

We must pray for God’s will for our life and for others. Our thoughts and our mind must line up with the word of God. You will have whatever you say. Death and life is in the power of the tongue. Our words can heal or hurt people. God sends His word to heal us mind, body and spirit.

Jesus’ word is medicine for our flesh. He doesn’t hear the prayers to harm people or to pay them back. Let go and let God do the work.

Jesus’ character is prefect and will not change for no one. He stays the same forever. Man can change and I might but God keeps His promises.

Glory! I thank God for His unconditional love.

Therefore I say unto you, what things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them and ye shall have them. (KJV))

To win a victory over something, you need to get on top of it. Think with a successful mind that you can have whatever you pray for and desire. We overcome because God has all the power and He knows all things.

Matthew 14:31

And immediately Jesus stretched forth His hand and caught him and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt. (KJV)

Peter, one of His disciples, still didn’t believe Jesus. He didn’t have the faith. He had to have proof that the son of the living God was among them. As Jesus told Him to come unto Him on the water the wind became unruly, meaning very strong and high. Peter began to sink because of unbelief and fear. Remember only by faith can we enter. Jesus had Peter cover. He couldn’t see it at the time only the water. God has it all in His hands even when we can see it.
