Devotion Title: God Promises

This devotional has been designed to encourage the body of Christ and well as unbeliever. Our faith is being tested in every area of our lives. Therefore we must know he keeps his promises to them that walk not after the flesh.  We trust that this devotional will bring light to those that read it.

Introduction: Promise is a solemn asseveration, by which one pledges his veracity that he or she will perform, or cause to be preformed.  Promises differ from the commands of God.  Some promises are predictions, as the promise of the Messiah and the blessing.  We can all rest in God promise knowing that he shall bring it to pass.

For all the promise of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

II Corinthians 1:20

A promise is an oral or written agreement to do or not to do something; vow.

Nevertheless we are according to the promise, look for new heaven and a new earth, wherein righteousness dwelleth.

II Peter 3:13

God promise Mary she would give birth to the Messiah the promise one. An angel appears unto Joseph and said take Mary for thy wife.  Shall bring forth there firstborn and called his name Jesus.  He shall save people from their sins.  The promise of Jesus coming back is for the church the call out ones, which are the believers.

That ye be not slothful, but flows of them who through faith and patience inherit the promise.

Hebrews 6:12

In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation in whom also, after that ye believed, ye were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.

Ephesians 1:13

Conclusion:

God word will not return back void meaning it shall come to pass.
